In terms of equality..no, men and women were never,nor will they ever be equal.They are different both possesing different and usually complementary strenghts and weaknessess.Which is why they can come together and propagate.We support and comlplete one onother like two pieces of a puzzle.Men and women are equal in many ways but some very good points have been overlooked as well,men and women are equal when opposing to the actions of the opposite sex just like cheating,hurting one onother,degradation,humiliation..need I go on?To me I may be young and naive but it is experience in our lives that makes us equal to someone else,not the gender between our legs,woul I go to war?yup,would i be scared shitless?yup,facing possible death is a scary thing.But its not because I am a woman that I would do it,I'ts because i will fight for what i believe in,not cause i am a great shot.Would I feel degraded having a male partner plant an I.V. drip in me because he is male?Nope,seen many male nurses better that some females at nursing,maybe its the attitude of a person and what drives them to do what they do in life,that makes them good,not because they have an outtie instead of an innie or vice versa.Ever notice that some mothers are terrible?and never should have been mothers?same for fathers?There again I rest in my case,not te sex,but the soul beneath the veneer,just a persons opinion,not rooting for one specific gender.But the person that they are inside,deeply,who we are.
